IPENZ UK Branch

Welcome to the website of the UK Branch of IPENZ. The UK Branch, where possible, provides members of IPENZ resident in or visiting the UK, and other interested individuals, the services provided by IPENZ to its members, including acting as a vehicle for members to contact and meet each other.

The branch committee organize a number of events each year including social gatherings, technical meetings and visits to sites of engineering interest. The calendar of currently planned events can be viewed by clicking on the ‘Events’ button on the left. A newsletter is published approximately quarterly and emailed to all IPENZ members whose address is in the UK.

Seattle Christchurch Sister City Association

Making Connections Across the Pacific.
The Association was founded in 1981 by a group of volunteers seeking to improve the people-to-people connections between Seattle, USA, and Christchurch, New Zealand.

Through sister city programs, grassroots citizen groups and local governments work together to promote international understanding and goodwill through person to person contacts. Out of the exchange of ideas and shared experiences, true friendships develop.
